Scott Lytle is an acclaimed jazz organist and pianist whose soulful, driving groove has carved out a distinct voice in the contemporary jazz landscape. Deeply rooted in the classic blues-inflected traditions of the mid-century, Lytle’s approach to the keys seamlessly balances intricate harmonic depth with an infectious, hard-swinging rhythm.

Lytle’s musical DNA is built on a lineage of legendary keyboard innovators. He draws immense inspiration from the lyrical wit and bluesy storytelling of Mose Allison, the bright, rhythmic West Coast swing of Pete Jolly, and the foundational, impeccable swing of hard-bop titan Wynton Kelly. Mirroring his influences, Lytle has earned a reputation not only as a formidable, inventive bandleader but also as an intuitive, highly sought-after accompanist who elevates every ensemble he joins.

A fixture in top-tier jazz circles, Lytle frequently performs with elite improvisers, notably anchoring the rhythm section for the celebrated Jay Thomas 12 O’Clock. Whether commandingly driving a Hammond B3 organ through greasy, late-night blues vamps or spinning elegant, complex bebop lines on an acoustic piano, Lytle brings an authentic, joyful energy to the stage. He remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of classic jazz while preserving the soulful, swinging heartbeat that defines the genre.

Conner Eisenmenger, a Louisville, Kentucky native, is a new face on the Seattle music scene. In 2022 he received the ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award for his piece, “Choice Paralysis.”. Before moving out West, Conner received a master of music from the University of North Texas where he played in the One O’clock Lab Band. These days Conner can be found playing with the Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Opera, the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, Louis Prima Jr, Tito Puente Jr, Beck, and various session work including Nintendo Live’s Super Mario Super Big Band. KNKX describes Conner’s passion for a life in music as “infectious in the best way.”

Christine Eisenmenger is a Seattle-based trumpet player, jazz vocalist, and educator. Possessing a warm, deep alto voice, she approaches vocal jazz with a daring, horn-like style reminiscent of Betty Carter and Carmen McRae. Her contemporary repertoire spans original arrangements of the Great American Songbook, wordless improvisations, and angular instrumental melodies.

A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Eisenmenger began as a classically trained trumpet player, studying at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music under Edmund Cord. She later pivoted to vocal jazz, earning a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas. While there, she performed as a soloist and arranger for the UNT Jazz Singers, contributing to the group’s 2015 DownBeat Award for Best Large Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

Now active in the Seattle scene, Eisenmenger works as a freelance performer, clinician, and Band Director at Meadowdale High School.

Dylan Hayes is a highly regarded jazz pianist, composer, and arranger, originally from San Francisco and currently based in Seattle, WA. At 27 years old, Dylan began playing piano at age 7 and has since built an impressive career. He attended the Marin School of the Arts in high school before continuing his studies at Cornish College of the Arts, graduating in 2019. At Cornish, he had the opportunity to study piano with Dawn Clement and Jovino Santos Neto, as well as arranging with Jim Knapp. During his time at Cornish, Jim Knapp entrusted Dylan and local legend Jay Thomas with the Jim Knapp Orchestra book.

Dylan's piano playing has earned him the opportunity to perform alongside some of jazz’s top musicians, including Benny Bennack III, Barry Stephenson, Jay Thomas, Johnaye Kendrick, Thomas Marriott, Christopher Brown, and Chris Amberger. His debut album, Songs for Rooms and People, was released by Blujazz Productions in March 2020 and was named one of the top ten jazz albums of the year by The Seattle Times. Dylan’s New York/Seattle-based band, Meridian Odyssey, released their album Second Wave under Origin Records in 2021, which was also listed as one of the top fifteen best albums of the year by The Seattle Times. Their sophomore release, Earthshine, won the Northwest Recording of the Year award at Earshot Jazz’s 2022 Golden Ear Awards.

In 2023, Dylan received a commission to arrange one of Thomas Marriott’s compositions for the Carolina Philharmonic. The conductor was astonished by the applause that followed the string soli Dylan arranged, remarking that it was the first time he’d witnessed an audience clap mid-piece in a classical performance. Dylan was also commissioned to arrange compositions by Julian Priester for the Fellowship ‘Ceptet, which premiered at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley in 2023. In addition, he has arranged music for the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and the Portland Composers Jazz Ensemble.
In 2024, Dylan toured and recorded a record in Europe, performed in New York City, toured the West Coast, and recorded four full-length albums of original music, including a trio record, an octet record, a neo-soul/pop record with Vela The Band, and the third album from Meridian Odyssey. Dylan and Vela The Band performed at the Havana Jazz Festival in January 2025.

Randy Halberstadt is a multi-dimensional pianist, composer, and arranger who was inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame in 2015. A fixture of the Pacific Northwest jazz scene, he serves as the pianist for the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra and has performed with legends like Herb Ellis and the Seattle Symphony.

Renowned as a premier vocal accompanist, Halberstadt has shared the stage with Sheila Jordan, Kevin Mahogany, and structural innovator Jay Clayton, performing at venues like the Kennedy Center. His acclaimed discography includes Inner Voice, Clockwork, and the Earshot Award-winning Parallel Tracks.

Also a dedicated educator, Halberstadt was a full professor at Cornish College of the Arts until 2018 and taught privately for 46 years before retiring in 2022. He authored the instructional text Metaphors For The Musician (Sher Music Company) and continues to reside in Seattle.

NYC-raised jazz guitarist Frank Kohl graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1976. After performing in New York and San Francisco, he moved to Seattle in 1990. He tours between the Northwest and New York, releasing acclaimed albums like Coast to Coast and Invisible Man. As Earshot Jazz Magazine noted, "...his soaring solos and swinging tunes unveil a spirit tuned into the moment and where the notes may lead."

NYC-raised jazz guitarist Frank Kohl began playing at age 7, developing his style under the influence of legends like Wes Montgomery and Jim Hall. A formative experience at NY jazz club Rapsins led him to study with Linc Chamberlin and perform with bassist Lyn Christie. Today, Frank maintains a robust live performance schedule, touring extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest, the United States, Europe, and Asia.

An accomplished jazz guitarist and educator, John Stowell developed his unique musical voice under the mentorship of legends Linc Chamberland and John Mehegan. Recognized early on by the Downbeat International Critics Poll as a "talent deserving wider recognition," Stowell has spent decades touring the Pacific Northwest, the United States, Europe, and Asia.

His storied career includes a historic 1983 tour of the Soviet Union with flutist Paul Horn, and his collaborative album Through the Listening Glass with bassist David Friesen was named one of the "Ten Best Jazz Albums of the Decade" by the Los Angeles Examiner.

With an extensive discography alongside masters like Milt Jackson and Art Farmer, Stowell is also a globally sought-after clinician and instructor. He brings a pragmatic, intuitive teaching style to his performances, helping musicians and audiences alike connect deeply with the music.

One of the most accomplished jazz vocalists on the West Coast, Greta Matassa has been hailed by critics and peers alike as a world-class interpreter of the American Songbook. With seven Earshot Jazz Vocalist of the Year awards, a string of acclaimed albums on Origin Records, and performances ranging from intimate jazz clubs to international festivals, Greta brings both technical mastery and deep emotional intelligence to every stage she graces.

Saxophonist Neil Welch is a Seattle-based improviser, acoustic and electronic artist, curator, composer, recording artist and educator. His practice is firmly linked to the natural world, welcoming inspiration from the abundant wildernesses of the Pacific Northwest. These influences are sonically reflected by a measured use of space and activated silence, with such specialized techniques as multiphonic-acoustic chord playing, microtonal pitch content, and air/wind-based sound. He is also a deep practitioner in the sculpting of a compelling melody, played on horn voices ranging from soprano to bass saxophone. Neil’s performance and recorded works focus largely on current musical forms, with a strong emphasis on improvisation. He is a member of the acclaimed saxophone + electronics / drum duo Bad Luck, and Wayne Horvitz’s Royal Room Collective Music Ensemble. As a solo artist, Neil also particularly welcomes the emotive vulnerability of unamplified acoustic solo saxophone improvisation.

Neil embraces the power of community collaboration in the arts, often exploring varied ensemble instrumentations and interdisciplinary practices. He was a founding member of the Racer Sessions series (est. 2007 - 2024) and curator artistic curator (2014-16). Neil is currently a member of the collectively run Gallery 1412 artist space. With 7 solo releases and appearances on 60+ albums to date, Neil’s playing unabashedly embraces a vastness of sonic possibility. All About Jazz calls his work "stunning and extraordinary,” and Downbeat Magazine calls Neil "an impassioned player.”

Based on Whidbey Island, Washington, Sidney Hauser is a professional saxophonist, visual artist, and designer who has spent a lifetime exploring creative outlets. She graduated from the University of Washington with a minor in Music Performance alongside a BA in Painting and Drawing, later earning an AAS in Graphic Design from Seattle Central College.

Deeply embedded in the Pacific Northwest music community, she has spent years performing as a professional saxophonist while simultaneously channeling her creative energy into designing custom posters, album covers, and merchandise for Seattle's vibrant music scene. Today, she balances a full-time career in Montessori education with a thriving freelance creative practice. Downbeat named Hauser as 2025 Emerging Artist of the Year. Talli Kimani is a versatile musician and artist whose work spans multiple genres and musical styles. He performs on Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Clarinet, Piano, Keyboard, and Organ, bringing a broad musical voice to every stage he steps onto. After earning a full-tuition scholarship to Berklee College of Music, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance, graduated, and returned to Seattle to continue his artistic journey.
During his time in Boston, Talli studied with acclaimed saxophonists Godwin Louis and George Garzone while also learning from Walter Smith III, refining both his musicianship and artistic identity. Beyond performing, Talli is deeply passionate about music education and sharing his knowledge with others.

Talli has won many awards, such as the University of Idaho, Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival 2020 Piano solo division winner, and many more. Having performed at venues and in states across the United States—including Benaroya Hall, the Royal Room, Jazz Alley, the Paramount, Smalls Jazz Club, Wally’s Jazz Club, and many more—Talli continues to build a growing performance career and is currently performing with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra.

Featuring the lighter side of jazz texture, husband and wife team Greg Williamson & Heather Chriscaden present new arrangements of music with lots of solid bass walking and exclusively brushes tipping. Rooted in tradition with a modern and sometimes angular approach, the musical fabric is transparent yet energetic, giving the opportunity to highlight musical friends and guests. Featuring Greg Williamson - drums, Heather Chriscaden - bass, Jay Thomas - horns, Susan Pascal - vibraphone.

The Jazz Punishments Big Band is a dynamic ensemble from the Northwest jazz scene, dedicated to upholding the legacy of the big band tradition. Comprised of a youthful and energetic group of musicians, many alumni of the Edmonds-Woodway High School Jazz program. Featuring Joel Steinke on saxophone, Jack Hillman on trombone, and Christine Hannan Eisenmenger on trumpet and vocals. Under the direction of Jake Bergevin.

Adriana Giordano is a Brazilian-born vocalist and cultural ambassador whose performances infuse the Pacific Northwest jazz scene with the vibrant rhythms and melodies of her homeland. Raised in Sao Paulo, Giordano brings a rich musical heritage to her work, blending samba, forro, bossa nova, and jazz into a dynamic and soulful sound.

Reuel Lubag is a distinguished jazz pianist, composer, and educator based in Seattle. He has performed with legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. As a member of the Native Jazz Quartet, he toured Latin America as a U.S. State Department jazz ambassador. Featuring Reuel Lubag on drums, Emmanuel del Casal on bass, Andrew Glynn on tenor, and John Hansen on piano.
